چکیده

By means of a model based on a set covering formulation, it is shown how the p-Median Problem can be solved with just a column generation approach, which is embedded in a branch-and-bound framework based on dynamic reliability branching. This method is more than competitive in terms of computational times and size of the instances which have been optimally solved. In particular, problems of size larger than the largest ones considered in the literature up to now are solved exactly in this paper.

A limited memory adaptive trust-region approach for large-scale unconstrained optimization

This study concerns with a trust-region-based method for solving unconstrained optimization problems. The approach takes the advantages of the compact limited memory BFGS updating formula together with an appropriate adaptive radius strategy. In our approach, the adaptive technique leads us to decrease the number of subproblems solving, while utilizing the structure of limited memory quasi-Newt...

Polyhedral Analysis of Uncapacitated Single Allocation p-Hub Center Problems

In contrast to p-hub problems with a summation objective (p-hub median), minmax hub problems (p-hub center) have not attained much attention in the literature. In this paper, we give a polyhedral analysis of the uncapacitated single allocation p-hub center problem (USApHCP). The analysis will be based on a radius formulation which currently yields the most efficient solution procedures. We show...

Mathematical Formulation and Solving of Green Closed-loop Supply Chain Planning Problem with Production, Distribution and Transportation Reliability

In this paper, developed a new multi-product, multi-period, and multi-level closed-loop green supply chain planning model under uncertain conditions. The formulated model consists of five objective functions, which minimize the cost of the supply chain, minimize the CO2 emission of transportation vehicles, maximize the reliability of manufacturing and distribution centers, maximize t...

Defuzzification Method for Solving ‎Fuzzy ‎Linear Programming Problems

Several authors have proposed different methods to find the solution of fully fuzzy linear programming (FFLP) problems. But all the existing methods are based on the assumption that all the fuzzy coefficients and the fuzzy variables are non-negative fuzzy numbers. in this paper a new method is proposed to solve an FFLP problems with arbitrary fuzzy coefficients and arbitrary fuzzy variables, th...
